Exchange and restock parts must be returned to Sigmed Imaging at the Customer's expense to ensure proper credit. The Customer is responsible for duties and taxes on return shipments. If you need to exchange the item for the same item, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
EP.1 - All Exchanges require a valid RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Please email email@example.com for an Exchange RMA number before shipment.
EP.2 - Exchange parts are identified at the time of sale and noted on all invoices.
EP.3 - A "Like and Repairable" part must be received at our facility within 21 days of the date of shipment. All exchange item(s) not returned by the due date will incur additional billing. Additional billing will be calculated as the difference between the OEM outright Price and the purchase price, or reduced at the discretion of Sigmed Imaging. Freight charges, taxes, and duties for the return shipment are the responsibility of the buyer.
EP.4 - Exchanges will not be accepted with any of the following: physical damage, customer modifications, evidence of attempted repairs, or cannibalized parts.
EP.5 - If the exchange received is not a "Like and Repairable" part, the Customer will be notified requesting them to provide a "Like and Repairable" part within 7 calendar days. If one is not received within 7 days, additional Billing will be assessed. The exchanged part received may be returned at the Customer's request and expense, or it will become the property of Sigmed Imaging after 20 days.
EP.6 – If the part is shipped in a crate or pelican case, the exchanged part must be returned in the original container. There will be a charge of $500 replacement fee for each pelican case or crate not returned. Full credit will be issued upon the return of the original container.
RP.1 - Sigmed Imaging allows the restocking of parts up to 30 days from the original date of shipment.
RP.2 - No restock credit will be issued for Consumable parts with a $500 or less purchase price. Consumable parts are identified at the time of sale and noted on all invoices.
RP.3 - All Restocks require a valid RMA number to be requested within 10 days of the original shipment date. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain an RMA number valid for restocks only before returning the product.
RP.4 - All Restock parts returned without a Restock RMA number will be processed as an Exchange part.
RP.5 - If the part is returned within 30 days from the original date of shipment, the following Restock credit will apply:
- Un-Opened Restock Fee 10% (85% Credit)
- Opened Restock Fee 25% (70% Credit)
- After 30 Days No Credit; Part processed as an Exchange
- Not Returnable after 30 days
*Note: If the part is returned and found to be defective or tampered with, then restock credit will not apply
EXTENSION OF CREDIT
EOC.1 - If credit is offered, the Customer shall pay for all purchases within the terms agreed (NET30 unless noted otherwise on the invoice).
EOC.2 - The Customer shall pay a service charge of 2% per month (24% annual percentage rate) on all past due balances.
EOC.3 - If any third parties are employed to collect any outstanding monies owed, the Customer shall pay all reasonable collection costs. This includes all expenses Sigmed Imaging incurs from a third-party collection agency and lawsuit.
Sigmed Imaging warranties its product against any defects or malfunctions for 30 days prorated unless otherwise specified at the time of sale. Details of warranties for X-ray tubes and other glassware will be made available at the time of order or by inquiry to Sigmed Imaging. This warranty is void if the serial number or security measures have been altered or removed from the product. If the failure of the product is a result of accident, abuse, misapplication, or Acts of God, Sigmed Imaging shall have no responsibility under this warranty policy. Warranty terms and credit terms are as follows:
WP.1 - All warranty claims require a valid RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) valid for warranty only to be requested within 37 days of the original shipment date or as stated at the time of sale. Please contact email@example.com to obtain an RMA number before returning the product.
WP.2 - DOA (Dead/Defective on Arrival) claims must be made within seven business days of the delivery date. Damaged in shipping must be noted on the delivery ticket. Parts that are tampered with will not be credited. The Returns/Exchange form must be filled out. DOA claims also require a valid RMA number.
WP.3 - Warranty Credit will only be issued when a warranty replacement has been ordered. Warranty returns without a warranty re-order will not be accepted, and no credit will be issued.
WP.4 - Sigmed Imaging offers technical support for all warranty claims. All requested warranty claims require the available technical support to obtain full credit for a valid warranty claim.
WP.5 - Warranty will be voided if there is any sign of tampering, removal, or breakage of warranty seals.
WP.5 - All warranty parts must be returned to Sigmed Imaging within 7 days of the warranty replacement ship date.
WP.6 - All warranty parts returned without an RMA number will be processed as an Exchange part, and no credit will be issued.
WP.7 - All warranty claims will undergo a technical review validation by our engineers, and a credit will only be issued on valid and approved warranty claims.
WP.8 - Warranty Credit - Credit for a valid warranty claim will be issued as follows:
- Parts received within 30 days of the replacement shipment date will only receive a 66% credit.
- The remaining 60 days shall be prorated from the date of shipment.
No Credit will be issued if part received after 90 days of shipment date - No credit given.
- Invalid warranty (determined by a technical review) - Considered Open Restock.
Sigmed Imaging warrants that the Parts (other than X-ray tubes and other glassware) will meet manufacture specifications during the applicable warranty period defined above. Warranties for different parts are exclusively those offered by the manufacturer or refurbishing company of part. Except for the warranties described above, all parts are sold AS IS and with all faults. Sigmed Imaging makes no warranty of any kind, express or implied, regarding the parts sold under this policy and with this expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a purpose.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Sigmed Imaging's total liability for any claim under this policy is limited to the price of the part(s), regardless of whether such claim is made at law, in tort, in contract, or according to any other theory, including strict liability. Neither Sigmed Imaging nor Customer will have any liability to the other for punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages such as lost profits or revenue, even if such party has been advised of the possibility of the same. The transaction described in this policy is a commercial transaction. Any action related to this policy shall be based solely on commercial law principles. Neither party shall have any negligence or other tort liability to the other arising from this policy or transactions occurring pursuant hereto.
SHIPMENT AND RISK OF LOSS
Unless otherwise stated, all Parts shall be shipped Free On Board (FOB) from Sigmed Imaging, with prepaid freight at Customer's expense, and title and risk of loss shall pass to Customer at that point.
